I’m an event producer, singer-songwriter and meditation teacher putting a band together for a series of mantra music meditation events in Chicago area

The style is roots-folk with groove and it's a call and response singing meditation with audience participation. The music should support the meditation, so we're looking for people who can find their moments and also respect the silence, not looking for someone to shred.

Ideally looking for someone who can provide rhythm and step into lead as needed for different arrangements

We want to bring in some ambient pads and nature samples, but this is not spacey new age elevator music. We want the audience to sing along, move and dance. We’ve held similar events in Asia and Eastern Europe for large audiences and looking to workshop this format in Chicago and eventually take it around the region

Paid gigs and rehearsals for the right people.
